One of our internet peers was advertising bad routes which caused our services to show as down even though they were not. This particular peer interconnects Miami to many services around the country and the world which caused service to many online services appear to be down or unreachable. We had to forcefully disable the peer in order to cease the bad advertisements. Once this was done, the service was fully restored. At this time the peer has reported they are back to normal status but to be safe we will wait at least 24 hours before reactivating.
